Our week in Michigan with the Barkers has come to an end. And we are better people for having gone. Jeremy was able to get back to a normal sleep pattern for a full week which made him a happier person to be around. I got to see my Michigan friends and their incredible kids. Ellia's first couple of teeth started to break through the old gum line. She was a tad moody during the week but loved hanging out with the Barker clan. And the lake was beautiful along with the weather. We came back totally content, realizing the truth behind the wise Denny Barker's statement, "The easiest thing to do is to quit being friends. It is hard work to keep relationships up and going." Hopefully Jeremy and I can make the Michigan trip an annual event. We truly have good friends up there.
