Buddy!

We've been talking for quite some time about getting another dog. Well, mostly Ellia has. And when I say talking, I really mean begging. So my idea was to foster. A good way to give the kids the understanding of how much responsibility a pet is. As well as help out some animals that may not otherwise get a chance. On our first go-round, we got TWO 8 week old chocolate lab puppies. Wowza. They were a whirlwind. Adorable, busy, chewing. And a good starter because that made us quickly realize that our lifestyle wasn't the best fit for a puppy. The second dog we got was a 2 yo yellow lab named Comanche. Boy did he steal our hearts. He is the calmest lab we have ever experienced. And ended up being a great addition to our family. Even Ben, who wasn't so fond of dogs, adores him. In just a short time, he has won our hearts. And our couch...and our bed.
